We are a Virginia certified, Small, Woman- and/or
Minority-owned ("SWaM") consulting firm specializing in speaking and
training programs for colleges and universities, corporations, civic
organizations and churches.
Our Mission
To help individuals and groups reclaim their
passion by realizing and walking in their purpose. Using the concept
of “Providing Nuggets that Prompt Independent Thought,” we offer a
unique approach for every aspect of personal and professional
development.

We adopt the mindset that all individuals are
“Relevant”. As we engage participants during our seminars and
speeches, we ask them to commit to self learning. We impress upon
them that their thoughts, perspectives, and experiences matter;
their presence is requested; and their open honesty is required.
Our Goal
To help participants recognize that they are a
valuable asset, and have been birthed to make a difference. And
because of that, what they bring to the world cannot be provided by
anyone else. Therefore, they must walk in their purpose in order for
their organization, group, or family to reach its maximum potential.

Professional Services

Training: The Talking Bout provides customized solutions
to fit a variety of needs. We assess your needs by conducting
in-depth interviews with your stakeholders and then identifying
the method needed to successfully bring your organization’s
goals to reality. Once the approach and message is agreed upon,
a plan outlining specific deliverables is submitted for the
client’s approval. We use
a variety of delivery methods such as workshops, seminars, and
one-on-one sessions based upon suitability.
- Keynote Addresses: The Talking Bout uses a
high energy approach to deliver both inspirational and
motivational addresses. Presentations can be delivered in both
large and small settings such as conferences, conventions,
graduation, award ceremonies, and organizational meetings. Our
topics can be customized to meet your needs based on a topic you
select or a theme suggested by us.
- Motivational Speeches: The Talking Bout wants
to assist your organization with igniting the fire of hope,
dreams, and passion. Therefore, we will design an event-specific
message to motivate and inspire your audience. Our speeches will
leave a lasting impression on audiences of all types; whether
you are a student, employee, or employer.
- Coaching: We realize that having
the right answers is not always enough. Therefore, we offer
several coaching approaches to fit your personal, professional,
individual, and corporate needs. Whether you need a one time
tune-up to bring balance before a big meeting or event; someone
to give you hard-nosed, logical, objective advice, or a series
of meetings to develop a framework for completing difficult or
undesirable tasks, The Talking Bout can help. We also
specializes in Coaching for Kids, a unique program
where we offer an initial assessment and a one-hour discovery
session geared towards bringing balance to a child’s thought
process. After an initial conversation with the caregiver, one
of our energetic coaches will sit down either virtually or
in-person with your youth and offer them the help they need.
- Consulting: The Talking Bout
will utilize the experience of its consultants in non-profit and
for profit management, Human Resources, and Education to develop
a customized solution that will assist with meeting your
corporate, group or institutional goals. Our consultation
process requires forming a cooperative partnership with the
client and key stakeholders. This relationship begins with a
thorough assessment of needs and the creation of clear project
objectives. We then develops a detailed scope of work to be
approved by the client. Post project, the consultant will sit
down with the client and facilitate a concise close-out process
where we will document lessons-learned and provide feedback to
utilize in your companies future endeavors.
